Motivation for the Sightjogging & Sightwalking
During his 12-year-old serious sport time in the area of Long-distance running Stefan Friemer - founder of SJSW Sightjogging & Sightwalking Berlin has made the experience, that running is possible everywhere no matter whether, if you are in South Africa/Capetown, Italy/Florence, Great Britain/London, Kenya or in Berlin.His motivation was to be reached in this time though certain aims and times, however, even then he already found out that one registered his surroundings in training camps and vacations much faster and you see more and experiences than many other vacationers.
He was always amazedly how much you see during a run in a foreign town or surroundings , only at that time without a city guide by his side with historical and touristic background. So the idea was born to run with a person on his side which shows and explains you the important places and buildings of a town and knows good run courses along these routes.

An idea grows up to a company
Now from this idea - and with some distance of his serious sport time - has originated SJSW Sightjogging & Sightwalking Berlin. In cooperation with his brother Matti Friemer, tourism expert and till this day many years' active marathon runner.Matti Friemer offers as a Travelmanager to his travel customers always individual alternatives of the leisure activities in their respective holiday places.
He was persuaded immediately of the concept of SJSW Sightjogging & Sightwalking Berlin: To show to tourists and Berliners the changeable capital Berlin with her places of interest and new resulted places, ways and buildings by guided tours by jogging, walking, nordic walking or on foot. SJSW Sightjogging & Sightwalking was founded in 2009.
