Tour Politics + History ("green & scenic tour")                      

You’ll get to see the Parliament building (the Reichstag), where the Bundestag has its head office, and the office of the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel. It’s often referred to as the “washing machine” because of its funny looking architecture.

Along the picturesque river spree you’ll have a majestic view of the new Central train station in Berlin.

Further along the tour we’ll go through the Tiergarten, sometimes referred to as the green lung of Berlin. You’ll see the house of world cultures (a.k.a. the pregnant oyster), Bellevue Palace, the office of the federal president and the victory column. After that you’ll pass some embassies, the German resistance memorial and then continue the tour to the Philharmonic and Potsdamer Platz.



Then we’ll pass several ministries and parliament buildings as well as the British and American embassies, the Holocaust memorial and the tour will end at the magnificent Pariser Platz with the Brandenbuger gate, the French embassy and a few other noticeable buildings, such as the Hotel Adlon.

XL-Tour
The longer tour will also take you by the old national galley, you’ll the leftovers of the wall over by Niederkirchner street and also go by Checkpoint Charlie, the federal council of Germany (the Bundesrat), Gendarmenmarkt, Unter den Linden, Friedrichstrasse, the Russian embassy and the Minister gardens (Ministergärten) with the country representatives.


A little further and you can enjoy a spectacular view of Potsdamer Platz with the Sony Center and the glass dome. Following the tour, you can visit the Reichstag dome.
